Our research-based materials and solutions become educational tools to make science concrete and accessible.
To achieve this, Corail Artefact is developing:
Educational kits for schools and families
Creative workshops for children and adults
Conferences for the general public, businesses, or institutions.
Prices and additional information: it's here
Purchasing our educational products also helps fund our efforts to protect coral reefs!
Our educational kit (for children)
1. Our teaching guide (children)
independent activity
Becoming a coral ambassador
Learn, but not by heart; rather, by guessing, having fun, and thinking for yourself.
The Coral Artefact educational guide is an immersive experience that allows children to discover coral reefs while becoming active participants in their preservation.
Designed as a progressive journey, it blends science, play and creation to learn, experiment and engage.
An active pedagogy
The guide is based on a fun and interactive approach:
• Surveys and quizzes to understand corals
• Creative workshops to stimulate the imagination
• concrete challenges to encourage action
• games that promote memorization
The child is not a spectator: he becomes an active participant in his learning.
A structured path
The guide accompanies the participants to:
• understand the essential role of corals
• identify threats
• discover concrete actions
• develop a lasting connection with living things
Becoming an ambassador
Throughout the journey, participants become ambassadors for coral.
A symbolic diploma recognizes their commitment and encourages them to pass on their knowledge in turn.
A unique universe
Originating from the Corail Artefact project, the guide offers a unique approach blending art and science:
• an accessible aesthetic
• Characters like our mascot Corallius and his friends
• solid scientific content
Audiences and uses
The guide is intended for:
• schools (cycles 2 and 3)
• Aquariums and science centers
• cultural structures
• general public
It can be used independently, in workshops, or as a mediation tool, alone or in conjunction with other resources.

An interactive experience to understand and take action
Designed without plastic or toxic materials, it allows you to manipulate, experiment and understand restoration mechanisms while having fun.
The Coral Artefact educational kit is a complete device, designed to make the challenges of preserving coral reefs accessible through a scientific, creative and interactive approach.
A complete educational tool
The case includes:
• A starter kit for ecological plant propagation
• An experimental protocol on sexual reproduction and Coral Artifact lace
• An educational conquest game based on questions
• A mini materials library with real samples:
• BCA1 (biopolymer) in plug form
• CCA1 (ecological concrete) in modular form
An active pedagogy
By manipulating objects and testing scenarios, participants gain a concrete understanding of:
• how corals develop
• Why certain environments are favorable to them
• What are the impacts of human activities?
• How solutions can be implemented
A direct link with reality
The content comes directly from the research and experiments of the Corail Artefact project, allowing participants to be linked to concrete restoration actions.
Target audience
• Aquariums and science centers
• Schools
• Cultural and educational structures
• Companies (CSR)
• General public
Usage formats
• Educational workshops
• Science communication
• School interventions
• Immersive experiences
An invitation to get involved
More than just an educational tool, the kit is a gateway to action, allowing everyone to understand and get involved at their own level.
Our immersive workshops
(children and adults)
Our “idea pocket” workshop
(children )
This workshop offers participants the opportunity to create their own baby Corallius out of yarn, using an eco-friendly PLA canvas support inspired by coral shapes.
Goals
• Discover the shapes and structures of coral
• Experiment with a simple and accessible textile technique
• Develop fine motor skills and concentration
• Create an emotional connection with living things
• Raise awareness about the use of environmentally friendly materials
Schedule
• Introduction to the Coral Artefact project and coral reefs
• Presentation of the ecological framework and materials
• Learning how to thread (simple technique)
• Gradual creation of the “baby Corallius” form
• Adding elements (eyes, details, customization)
• Presentation of creations and discussion time
Special feature of the device
The support used is a PLA (bioplastic) canvas which:
• reproduces the structures of coral
• serves as a pedagogical basis
• introduced the innovative materials of the project
The workshop thus creates a direct link between textile creation and research on materials for coral restoration.
Audience & duration
• Children (aged 6 and over), school groups, families, general public
• Duration: 1 to 2.5 hours
Result
Each participant leaves with:
• his creation (baby Corallius), an object that can serve as an idea pouch or talisman
• a better understanding of corals and their fragility

Our “coral star” workshop
(children and adults)
To manufacture in order to act
This workshop offers participants the opportunity to create an ecological concrete module inspired by the structures developed by Corail Artefact.
Using specific molds and CCA1 material, each participant creates a piece that contributes to the formation of a habitat favorable to marine life and also leaves with a mini souvenir module.
Goals
• Understanding the role of artificial structures
• Discover a suitable eco-friendly material
• Experiment with a simple manufacturing process
• Participate in a restoration project
Schedule
• Introduction to reefs and their restoration
• Module overview
• Material preparation
• Filling the molds
• Demolding (depending on format)
• Time for discussion
⚠️ Unmolding possible after 24 to 48 hours
Formats
• Discovery: observation + souvenir object
• Contribution: manufacturing of actual modules
• Expert: in-depth training
Audience & duration
• Children (from age 6), families, schools, adults, general public
• Duration: 1 to 3 hours
Result
Each participant leaves with:
• A module designed for coral regeneration and a mini takeaway module
• A concrete understanding
• A direct link to a real project
Conferences and presentations
(children and adults)
